Renny Harlin is the director of the upcoming American horror film The Strangers – Chapter 2, which was written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. It is the fourth installment in the The Strangers film series and stars  Madelaine Petsch. It is the direct sequel to The Strangers: Chapter 1 and the second part of a brand-new trilogy of movies.

In September 2022, Principal photography for all three films began in Bratislava, Slovakia, and lasted for 52 days, ending in November 2022 [4]. [5] [6]


While covering Petsch's character over the course of four days following her encounter, Harlin claims that Chapters 2 and 3 took a different approach than the previous movie. [6]



3 Release


Beginning on September 26, 2025, The Strangers – Chapter 2 will be released in the United States, replacing Saw XI. [3] The original release date was set for the end of 2024. [7]

The Strangers: Chapter 3, the trilogy's last installment, will be available at an undetermined time. [8]
